I’m a 21 year old conservative, homeowner, programmer, Apple fan, and college student from Nebraska. I have way too many hobbies and interests for my own good, and I suck at writing ‘about me’ types of pages.

My programming career started when I became Webmaster for a network of radio stations, using mostly ColdFusion and Java. After designing several internal management and web content systems, I left the Rural Radio Network and joined  O’Reilly author, Marc Loy. Together, we are working on a database management system using Ruby on Rails. Originally we had written the app in j2ee, but we gave Ruby on Rails a chance and haven’t looked back.

I am pursuing a degree in International Business through the University of Phoenix, and I hope to be finished sometime in early 2008.
